RETURN & REFUND POLICY

SCOPE
This Return & Refund Policy applies to purchases made from Discount Fragrances and governs returns, refunds, cancellations, exchanges, and related fees. By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to the terms set out below.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS
You may cancel your order, in full or in part, at any time before the order has shipped. There is no fee for cancelling an order.
How to request a cancellation:

Please include your order number in your cancellation request. We recommend emailing us as soon as possible, as cancellation requests are only accepted prior to the order being shipped.
Refund timing for cancellations: Once your cancellation is confirmed, we initiate the refund to your original payment method immediately. Funds typically appear in your account within 3 to 5 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer's processing time.
If your order has already shipped when you request a cancellation, we are unable to cancel the order. You will need to wait for delivery and then submit a return request through the regular return process described in this Policy.
RETURN WINDOW
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to contact us to request a return. Return requests submitted after the 30-day window will not be accepted.
CUSTOMER REMORSE RETURNS (CHANGE OF MIND, WRONG CHOICE, ETC.)
We accept returns of unopened items for any reason, including change of mind, wrong selection, scent preference, or any other customer remorse reason, provided the return is requested within the 30-day return window.
For customer remorse returns:
- The item must be unopened, with the original factory seal (cellophane wrap or equivalent) fully intact and unbroken
- The item must be in the same condition as when it was shipped to you
- The item must be returned with all original components, including the box, box sleeve, and any included accessories or free samples
- The customer is responsible for return shipping costs (see "How to Return Your Order" below)
- If the original order qualified for free shipping, two-way shipping costs (original outbound shipping + return shipping) will be deducted from the refund total
Opened or used items are not eligible for customer remorse returns. Once the factory seal has been broken or the box has been opened, the item is considered final sale and cannot be returned for any reason, including but not limited to scent preference, allergic reactions, or change of mind.
DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS
If your order arrives damaged or defective, you must notify us within 14 days of delivery. Reports submitted after the 14-day window may not be eligible for resolution.
To report a damaged or defective item, email info@discountfragrances.ca with the following:
- Your order number
- A clear photo of the damaged item
- A clear photo of the item packaging
- A clear photo of the shipping box
- A clear photo of the shipping label
Resolution: Once your damage or defect report is verified, you will be offered either a replacement (subject to stock availability) or a full refund, at your choice.
Refund coverage for damaged or defective items: If you received a damaged or defective item and choose a refund, you will receive a full refund of the item cost, the original shipping fee, and any Shipping Protection fee paid. Damaged or defective item refunds are not subject to two-way shipping deductions.
Return of the damaged item: Whether we require the damaged item to be returned to us is determined on a case-by-case basis, at our sole discretion. In most cases, you will not be required to return the damaged item.
Discount Fragrances reserves the right to request additional information necessary to assess the claim.
EXCHANGES
We accept exchanges for a different size or product, provided the original item meets the following conditions:
- The item must be unopened, with the original factory seal fully intact
- The item must be in brand new condition, exactly as it was shipped to you
- The item must be returned with all original packaging, components, and any included accessories or free samples
- The exchange request must be made within the 30-day return window
Shipping costs for exchanges: The customer is responsible for two-way shipping costs for all exchanges, including the cost of returning the original item to us and the cost of shipping the new item to you. This applies even if the original order qualified for free shipping.
To request an exchange, email info@discountfragrances.ca with your order number and details of the item you would like to exchange for. We will confirm availability of the new item before processing the exchange.
NON-RETURNABLE AND FINAL SALE ITEMS
The following items are final sale and are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange under any circumstances:
- Tester boxes
- Unboxed fragrances
- Opened or used items
- Gift sets (unless specifically noted)
- Sample-size items (unless specifically noted)
- Travel-size and mini fragrances
- Bath and body products (unless specifically noted)
- Cosmetic items including makeup, skincare, and haircare
- Clearance and sale items
- Any item explicitly marked as "Final Sale" on its product page
Items marked as Final Sale on the product page are not eligible for return regardless of condition.
HOW TO RETURN YOUR ORDER
Discount Fragrances operates as an online-only retailer from a warehouse facility. All returns must be sent by mail to our return address using the prepaid label we provide. We do not have a retail storefront, and in-person returns or drop-offs at our warehouse are not accepted.
Return process:
- Email us first. Send your return request to info@discountfragrances.ca with your order number and the reason for the return. Do not ship the item back without contacting us first.
- We will issue a prepaid return shipping label. Once your return request is approved, we will email you a prepaid return shipping label using our discounted carrier rates.
- Pack the item securely. Place the unopened item, along with all original packaging and components, in a shipping box. Attach the prepaid return label to the outside of the box.
- Drop off the package at the carrier indicated on the prepaid label.
- Wait for inspection. Once we receive the returned item and verify it meets our return condition requirements, we will process your refund.

RETURN SHIPPING COSTS
The cost of the prepaid return shipping label varies based on the size and destination of the return. For damaged or defective items, the prepaid return label is provided at no cost to you. For customer remorse returns and exchanges, the cost of the prepaid return label will be deducted from your refund.
If the original order qualified for free shipping and you initiate a customer remorse return, two-way shipping costs (original outbound shipping + return shipping) will be deducted from the refund total.
OUT-OF-STOCK ITEMS
If a product is out of stock after your purchase, we will notify you by email and issue a full refund for the unavailable product(s). Any remaining items in your order will ship as usual.
REFUND METHOD AND TIMING
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase, unless otherwise required by law.
Refunds are processed after the returned item is received at our warehouse and inspected for compliance with this Policy. Once the inspection is complete and your refund is approved, we initiate the refund immediately. Funds typically appear in your account within 3 to 5 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer's processing time.
SHIPPING AND HANDLING FEES (NON-REFUNDABLE)
Original shipping charges paid at checkout are non-refundable for customer remorse returns and exchanges. Original shipping charges are refunded for verified damaged or defective items, as described in the "Damaged or Defective Items" section above.
PRODUCT UPDATES, REFORMULATIONS, AND PACKAGING CHANGES
From time to time, manufacturers may change product packaging or formulas. Discount Fragrances is not responsible for these changes. All products sold remain 100% authentic, and updates in packaging design or scent profile do not qualify for returns.
CHARGEBACKS AND PAYMENT DISPUTES
Customers agree to contact info@discountfragrances.ca to attempt resolution before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with their bank or card issuer.
Unauthorized chargebacks may be disputed by Discount Fragrances and may result in restricted purchasing privileges with our store.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Return & Refund Policy from time to time. The version posted on our website at the time of your purchase will apply to your order unless otherwise required by law.
